Uniting Nigerian-American Professionals Committed to Health Equity and Excellence
The Association of Nigerian American Healthcare Professional Legends (ANAHPL) is a non-profit organization founded on February 18, 2019, by Dr. Nkiruka Iloh to unite healthcare providers, including physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and physician assistants, after recognizing the need for support among healthcare professionals facing personal and professional challenges, particularly those heightened during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Together with six dedicated members: Franca Njoku, DNP; Obiamaka Chiegborom, MD; Esther Nwabuoku, FNP; Mariam Abubakar, NP; Chinwe Nduka, MD, PhD; Latifat Okeke, DNP; and Nena Olugu, NP, the organization, called initially Eminent Healthcare Professionals, launched outreach and welfare programs to assist members and underserved communities in the USA and Nigeria. With over seventy members, ANAHPL promotes community wellness, educational initiatives, and professional development. The organization encourages members to pursue advanced degrees and emphasizes mentorship and collaboration within the community.
A global community of empowered professionals shaping health systems and uplifting underserved communities through integrity, compassion, and collaboration.
